We are a team of changemakers, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, grandparents and neighbors.

Saving the lives of our young people is a conversation that needs all of us at the table. You are invited to be a part of this team – proud Latinos, caregivers, educators, Faith leaders, writers, poets, artists, organizers, everyone is welcome.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support parents and caregivers as they talk with their children and young people about fentanyl, the dangers of counterfeit pills, and the new chemical drug landscape.

Our Vision

We will provide a comprehensive resource hub that curates critical information and communication tools that empower families to keep their loved ones safe.

LatinX Advisory Council
In 2023, we formed a LatinX Advisory Council that is made up of leading medical, academic, and creative storytelling experts from around the country. This council is led by Gina Malagold, PhD, who's brother Dylan is forever 23, and experienced a fentanyl-involved death during the COVID pandemic. This life-changing moment inspired her to lead this charge, and each member of our council has a personal connection to this cause.

Community Partners
As our council member Mike de la Rocha has said, "we believe that those closest to the pain, are also closest to the solution." For that reason it's our intention to partner with brother and sister organizations throughout California and the nation who are providing life-altering support, love and resources for resilience to our LatinX family. We know that the issue of fentanyl-involved deaths does not exist on an island -- it's part of an ecosystem of inputs that community organizations around the country have been dedicated to for decades now.
